Apple Crisp

Place in a shallow 6 x 10 inch baking dish 4 cups of sliced apples.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of water over the apples.

Work together until crumbly:
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Spread crumb mixture over apples.

Bake uncovered about 40 minutes in moderate oven, 350 degrees F. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Serves about 6.
